OUR EQUITY, DIVERSITY, INCLUSION AND BELONGING STATEMENT

At Apostrophe, we help organizations tell their stories.

We do this through an unwavering commitment to creating safe spaces for diverse perspectives.  We choose to listen with respect and to engage in conversations that are inclusive and accessible.  We choose to partner with others who are doing the same, because we are stronger together.

We believe diversity strengthens communities.  As communicators, we know words have power and we work to advance the language of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging inside and outside of organizations.

We are grateful to live and work on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples including the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.  We acknowledge that colonialism, systemic racism and oppression are complex, and that dismantling them requires a collective and lifetime commitment to self-education and actionable change.  We are determined, in everything we do, to remove barriers, increase accessibility and advocate for a kinder and more accepting world for all.
